Here is the list of goals I had for the year 2013:
- exercise more
- be more conscious of what and how much I eat
- take more time to look better (I am a "throw it on and go" type of person. This means that I usually just grab a pair of pants and t-shirt and put my hair in a clip and keep it moving. So this year, I want to make sure to improve on this)
- stop making excuses for not doing things
- promote my Etsy shop more http://www.etsy.com/shop/BettysBlock?ref=si_shop
- increase the quantity and quality of the items in my Etsy shop
- do more paintings
- get out of the house more
- be a better blogger!
- get more organized
Now, let's see how I'm doing:
- The exercise thing - not doing too well. I do exercise for a few days, then get lazy again :(
- The eating thing is kind of the same way for me too. I will watch what I eat, then get a crazy sweet tooth and start eating more junk food. :(
- I still make excuses for doing some things (like the first two goals!), but I am improving and getting more done, which is my goal :)
- I have been promoting my shop more than before. :)
- I have slowly but surely (and continue to) increased the quantity and quality of what I have in my shop. :)
- Sadly, I have not done any paintings lately. :)
- I have gotten out of the house more and socialized more, which is a great way to help me keep what little sanity I have left! (I'm sure you stay at home moms understand this one!) :)
- I'm not sure if I am a better blogger yet. But I have been trying to post a little more and keep it interesting. But I know I still have work to do. :)
- I think I have been more organized in things. That helps keep everything running a little smoother. :)
This is my progress so far. As you can see, I still have some work to do! But that is the point of setting goals - taking the steps to get where you are trying to be in that area of your life. So how have you been doing on your goals for the year?
The important thing is to keep at it like you are doing! We all tend to be overly ambitious on January 1 of each year, but you are making progress!
